A message to clients...
Hello,
The weight of today’s world can easily lead to stress, burnout, addiction/compulsive behaviors,
and deep-seated patterns of despair and loneliness. Healing begins with a safe, trusting
relationship. Through humor, compassion, courage, and curiosity we will explore the thoughts
and emotional reactions keeping you stuck with the goal of helping you shift perspective so you
can restore your relationship with yourself and cultivate deeper, healthier connections with the
important people in your life.
I am passionate about providing culturally-sensitive, identity-affirming therapy to individuals
from diverse backgrounds for a wide variety of presenting concerns. I provide individual
therapy to clients across the lifespan (ages of 5 to 90+) in addition to relationship counseling for
a variety of dynamics (parent-child, sibling, coworkers, friends, intimate partner(s), divorce,
etc.)
To best support your growth and help you adapt to lifes challenges, I continually study and
integrate:
● Neuroscience & Attachment Theory
● Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
● Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
● Internal Family Systems (IFS)
● Psychodynamic Theory
● Polyvagal Theory
