A message to clients...

Welcome to you, squinting at this website, likely wondering if a therapist is the sort of thing that might actually help. Maybe you find yourself lost, heartbroken, furious, defeated, or confused. Maybe you're looking for a place to check in while dealing with the many stresses in this life. Or you or your relationships are caught in painful loops or explosions both expected or unexpected. My guess is something has gone a bit sideways in your life, at some point, especially since you are a human being. Whatever brings you to search for a therapist, I find it’s some version of these questions: “Who am I? Where am I? How did I get here? And where do I go next?”

Whether you are seeking support for yourself, for your platonic or romantic relationships, or as a family, my role is as a guide and companion. We will explore the challenges you face, the past that brought you here, and how to create a future where those challenges can become opportunities to live a fuller, more intentional life.

As a therapist, I have helped clients with a wide range of identities, backgrounds, goals, traumas, and mental health disorders. I most recently have worked with people struggling with addiction, helping them to understand and manage the mental health issues that lead to and go along with it. I bring concepts from CBT, DBT, Internal Family Systems, somatic, narrative, and other therapies together with mindfulness and meditation to create an approach specifically for you. I am as comfortable exploring life’s problems with scientific, evidence-based perspectives as I am with the subjective, spiritual, and ephemeral.

So, if you are even just a bit curious if I may be the support you are looking for, reach out. If, after we give it a try, you feel that I’m not the fit for you, my role becomes helping you to find a therapist who is.One of the hardest parts of making change is getting started. Let’s get started.
